Terms and Conditions
The agreement between you and GOB, whether you run a store, buy from one, complete tasks or run brand campaigns. Please read it carefully: it protects both of us.
These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) are a legally binding agreement between you and GOB Digital Services Ltd (RC 9344756), “GOB”, “we” or “us”, operator of GOB Business, GOB’s free online store platform, along with GOB’s reward tasks and payment services. By accessing or using the GOB app or website, you confirm that you have read, understood and agreed to these Terms.

- Your use of GOB is subject to applicable Nigerian law, including the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023 (NDPA) and CBN regulations on digital payments.
1.2If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not access or use the GOB platform.
2. Eligibility
2.1To use GOB, you must meet these requirements:
- Age
- You must be at least 18 years old. People under 18 may not register or use the platform.
- Where GOB operates
- GOB currently operates in Nigeria. Access from other countries is at your own risk and may be restricted without notice.

3. Account registration and security
3.1When you create a GOB account, you agree to:
- Give accurate, current and complete information, and keep your profile up to date.
- Keep your login details (email, phone number, PIN and password) confidential and not share them with anyone.
- Tell GOB immediately at [email protected] if you suspect anyone has used your account without permission.
- Take full responsibility for all activity on your account, whether or not you authorised it.
GOB will never ask for your password, PIN or OTP by phone call, SMS, email or chat. Don’t share them with anyone claiming to represent GOB.
4. Free online store (GOB Business)
4.1GOB’s core product is GOB Business, a free online store for every verified user. These terms apply to anyone who opens or runs a GOB Business store, alongside the Free Store Terms of Use.
- Free store
- Every verified GOB user can open one free online store at gob.ng/store/yourname, with no monthly fee, listing fee or setup cost.
- Not a reseller
- GOB does not own, stock or resell products. Every product belongs to the business that lists it; GOB provides the store, payments and tools.
- KYC required
- NIN or BVN verification must be completed before you can create a store, as required by CBN regulations.
- Extra stores
- Store slots beyond your free one cost ₦10,000 each, paid from your GOB wallet.
- Sales fees
- GOB deducts a fee from each completed order, depending on how the customer pays. GOB Wallet and Points: 1.5% (settles the second the order confirms). Bank transfer: ~2.5% (1% transfer fee + GOB 1.5%. Never more than ₦2,800 a sale). Card or instant transfer: ~4% (card processor fee + 1% transfer fee + GOB 1.5%. Never more than ₦4,800 a sale). Pay on delivery: 0% (confirm the cash in the app on delivery). Card fees are made up of the card processor’s fee (Korapay 1.5%, Paystack 1.5% plus ₦100 above ₦2,500, or RexPay 1.38%, capped at ₦1,900 to ₦2,000), a 1% transfer fee (capped at ₦300) and GOB’s 1.5% (at least ₦30, at most ₦2,500).
- Optional paid features
- Some features cost extra, including the Premium plan (currently ₦5,000 a month) for more product photos and video, extra staff slots, the Luxe Pro theme and domains bought in the app. Prices are shown in the app before you pay.
- Your responsibilities
- You are responsible for accurate product listings, timely fulfilment and resolving customer issues. Misrepresenting products or engaging in fraudulent transactions will lead to store suspension.
- Prohibited products
- Firearms, narcotics, counterfeit goods, alcohol without NAFDAC approval, gambling services, or anything that violates Nigerian law may not be listed.
- Shipping (optional)
- GOB does not ship or deliver goods. You may connect your own Shipbubble account to quote live courier rates at checkout, with pickup and delivery carried out under your own Shipbubble agreement, or set your own shipping methods.
- Refunds and disputes
- Stores may set their own refund policy. GOB helps resolve disputes but is not liable for product quality issues between buyers and sellers.
- Custom domains and SEO
- You may connect a domain you own (verified through DNS) and customise your store’s SEO details, both free of charge. Domains must not infringe any trademark or existing brand.
5. Tasks and rewards
5.1GOB runs a task marketplace where verified businesses (“Partners”) post tasks and registered users (“Earners”) complete them for points and/or cash rewards:
- Genuine completion only. Every task must be completed genuinely, as described. Submitting false, fabricated or AI-generated proof is strictly prohibited and will lead to account termination and loss of all earnings.
- Verification. GOB may verify any task before crediting rewards. Rewards may be held for up to 72 hours pending verification.
- Points and cash. Points can be redeemed for cash, airtime or platform credit at rates GOB may update from time to time. Points have no cash value outside the GOB platform.
- Task availability. GOB does not guarantee a minimum number of tasks or earnings. Available tasks depend on active partner campaigns.
- Task rejection. GOB or its Partners may reject submissions that don’t meet the stated requirements. Rejected tasks are not eligible for a reward.
6. Payments, wallet and withdrawals
6.1The GOB wallet lets you fund your account, earn rewards, pay bills and use financial utility services. It is powered by Fincra, a CBN-licensed provider of wallets, withdrawals and account numbers.
- Minimum withdrawal
- ₦100 from your wallet, or 1,000,000 points from task points. Withdrawals are paid through Fincra to Nigerian bank accounts only.
- Withdrawal fees and limits
- A fee of ₦100 to ₦250 applies to each withdrawal, depending on the amount, and daily, weekly and monthly limits apply. Both are shown in the app before you confirm.
- Processing time
- GOB aims to process withdrawals within minutes. Processing may take up to 24 hours because of bank or system maintenance. GOB is not liable for delays caused by other financial institutions.
- Store payments
- Wallet payments to your store settle immediately. Card and instant bank transfer payments settle after a 24-hour hold. Bank transfer orders settle once you confirm receipt in the app.
- Bill payments
- Airtime, data, electricity, cable TV and betting wallet top-ups are available in the app. Cashback on eligible purchases is credited automatically. Rates may change without notice.
- Taxes
- You are solely responsible for reporting and paying any taxes on your GOB earnings under Nigerian law.
- Reversals
- GOB may reverse any credit that results from fraud, system errors or partner disputes.
7. Brand campaigns and partners
7.1If you register as a Partner (a brand, business, promoter or agency) to create campaigns and post tasks, these additional terms apply. They are separate from, and in addition to, the free online store terms in section 4.
- Campaign funding
- Partners must fund campaigns in full before tasks are published. GOB holds campaign funds in escrow and releases payments to Earners when tasks are verified as complete.
- Campaign review
- All campaigns are reviewed before going live. GOB may reject campaigns that break these Terms, the law or our community guidelines.
- Prohibited campaigns
- Partners may not create campaigns for illegal products or services, unlicensed gambling, political manipulation, hate speech or anything that violates Nigerian law.
- Refunds
- Unused campaign funds can be refunded on written request to [email protected], less a 5% processing fee. Funds already paid to Earners are non-refundable.
- Platform fee
- GOB charges a platform service fee on all campaigns. The fee is shown when you create a campaign and may change with 14 days’ notice.
8. Prohibited conduct
8.1The following are strictly prohibited and will lead to immediate account suspension and forfeiture of funds, and may be reported to the relevant authorities:
- Creating multiple accounts or using fake identities.
- Submitting fake, edited or fabricated task proof.
- Using bots, scripts or automated tools to complete tasks.
- Trying to reverse or charge back legitimate transactions.
- Phishing, impersonating GOB staff or scamming other users.
- Getting around GOB’s verification or security systems.
- Posting or sharing illegal, pornographic or harmful content.
- Any activity that violates Nigerian law.

9.2You may not copy, reproduce, distribute or create derivative works of any GOB content without written permission.
9.3Content you submit to GOB, including task proof, reviews and survey responses, grants GOB a royalty-free licence to use it for platform improvements and partner reporting.
9.4The GOB name, logo and “GoBeyond” brand are trademarks of GOB Digital Services Ltd and may not be used without permission.
10. Privacy and data protection
10.1GOB collects, processes and stores your personal data in line with the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023 (NDPA) and our Privacy Policy, which explains in full what we collect, why, who we share it with and your rights.
10.2We do not sell your personal data. We share it only as needed with Fincra and our other service providers, with task Partners to deliver their campaigns, with store owners when you buy from them, and with regulators when Nigerian law requires it.
10.3You can access, correct or ask us to delete your personal data by contacting [email protected], and delete your account in the app at any time.
11. Limitation of liability
11.1To the maximum extent permitted by Nigerian law:
- GOB provides the platform “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied.
- GOB is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the platform.
- GOB’s total liability to you for any claim will not exceed the amount you paid or earned on the platform in the 90 days before the claim.
- GOB is not responsible for the content of Partners’ task campaigns, or for any third-party products or services you access through the platform.
- GOB is not liable for delays, errors or losses caused by Fincra or any other third-party provider beyond GOB’s reasonable control.
12. Termination
12.1GOB may suspend or permanently close your account at any time, with or without notice, if we reasonably believe you have broken these Terms. If that happens:
- Your access to the account and its data ends immediately.
- Pending rewards or wallet balances may be forfeited if the account was closed for fraud or a breach of these Terms.
12.2You can close your own account at any time, in the app or by contacting support. Any verified balance will be paid out on request, subject to identity verification.
13. Changes to these terms
13.1GOB may change these Terms at any time. For material changes, we will tell you in the app, by email, or by updating the “Last updated” date on this page. If you keep using GOB after a change, you accept the revised Terms. If you disagree, stop using GOB and close your account.
14. Governing law and disputes
14.1These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Any dispute arising from them will first be addressed through good-faith negotiation. If it is not resolved within 30 days, it will be referred to arbitration under the Arbitration and Mediation Act 2023, in Lagos, Nigeria. Nothing in this clause stops either party from seeking urgent injunctive relief from a competent Nigerian court.

Yes. Opening and running a GOB Business store has no monthly fee, listing fee or setup cost. You need to complete NIN or BVN verification first. You can list unlimited products, accept wallet, bank transfer, card and pay on delivery payments, and connect your own domain. GOB takes a fee on each completed order: 1.5% for wallet and points, about 2.5% for bank transfer (never more than ₦2,800), about 4% for card (never more than ₦4,800) and 0% for pay on delivery. Extra stores cost ₦10,000 each.
GOB doesn’t own, stock or resell any products. Every product belongs to the business that lists it, and shoppers can discover stores in the GOB app. GOB gives each business a free store, secure payments and tools like product variations, custom domains, SEO and analytics so they can sell directly to their own customers under their own brand.
GOB itself does not ship or deliver goods. Your store has an optional Shipbubble integration: connect your own Shipbubble account and your store can quote live courier rates at checkout. Pickup and delivery run on your own Shipbubble settings and agreement, with status updates flowing back to your store.
Creating a GOB account, opening a store and completing tasks cost nothing. GOB earns a fee on store sales and a platform fee when businesses fund campaigns. Some extras are paid and optional, like the Premium plan (₦5,000 a month) for more product photos and video. Prices are always shown before you pay.
Open the GOB app, go to your Wallet, tap Withdraw and enter your Nigerian bank account details. Withdrawals are paid through Fincra, usually within minutes. The minimum is ₦100 from your wallet, or 1,000,000 points from task points, and a fee of ₦100 to ₦250 applies. You may need to complete BVN or NIN verification before your first withdrawal.
You must be at least 18 years old to register and use GOB. We check age during KYC. Accounts found to belong to under-18 users will be permanently closed and any earnings forfeited.
Most digital tasks (social media, music streaming, product reviews and surveys) can be completed anywhere in Nigeria with an internet connection. Some real-life tasks, like store audits or GPS check-ins, are limited to specific cities or addresses and only show for users in those areas.
If your proof doesn’t meet the partner’s requirements, it’s marked as rejected and no reward is credited. You’ll get a notification explaining why. Common reasons are blurry screenshots, the wrong account, the wrong platform or instructions not fully followed.
Yes. Submitting false or fabricated proof, creating multiple accounts, using bots or automation, or trying to defraud GOB or its partners will lead to permanent suspension and forfeiture of all earnings. Our fraud detection runs at all times.
Download the GOB app, register, fund your campaign wallet and follow the guided task creation flow. Choose a task type (social media, music promo, survey, real-life and more), set the reward per user and the number of completions, and go live within 24 hours of our review. For large or custom campaigns, email [email protected] or visit our Partnership page.
GOB works with Fincra, a CBN-licensed payment infrastructure provider, for all naira wallet transactions, account numbers and withdrawals. Your transactions need your 6-digit PIN or biometrics, and campaign funds from partners are held in escrow and released only when tasks are verified.
